About This Chapter

Teaching Human Rights, the Texas Chapter of United for Human Rights, was started by Jon Ellzey of Austin, Texas in January, 2008. Started with a presentation at the MLK Festival in Austin, Texas on January 21st, 2008, people's genuine interest in human rights is helped to grow. This way human rights can increase and perhaps what Eleanor Roosevelt said on December 10th, 1948, "This Universal Declaration of Human Rights may well become the international Magna Carta of all men everywhere," can become true.
